How quoting works.
Send the drawings.
Share your plans, elevations, or even a sketch with dimensions and the species and finish you have in mind. If the design is still open, Mike is glad to draw the cabinetry with you.
Walk the space.
Before the number is final, the space gets measured in person — walls that aren't plumb, floors that aren't level, and clearances all get accounted for before a board is cut.
One itemized quote.
You get a single written quote covering design time, materials, hardware, finish, delivery, and installation — the whole scope, itemized, so nothing surprises your client later.
Most projects run twelve to sixteen weeks from measured drawing to final install, depending on species, finish, and scope. Timelines are stated in writing with the quote, so you can sequence your project around them.
The person who built it installs it.
Your cabinetry is delivered and installed by Mike himself — the same hands that drew and built it. Anything that needs to be scribed to an out-of-plumb wall or tuned on site is handled right there, not handed off to a third-party installer who has never seen the drawings.
Installation is scheduled around your project timeline and coordinated with other trades on site, and the punch list is worked the same day — not scheduled for a return visit weeks later.
What we build for trade projects.
Kitchens and islands, wall units and built-ins, freestanding furniture, solid-wood countertops, reception desks, and institutional casework. Materials are FSC-certified domestic and exotic hardwoods — white and red oak, cherry, walnut, hard maple, hickory, mahogany — chosen board by board for grain and stability. Joinery is traditional: dovetailed drawers, mortise-and-tenon face frames, and hand-applied finishes built up in thin coats.
Commissioned work includes display cabinets, chapel casework, and memorial lecterns for the US Naval Academy.

Can you work from our CAD or Revit drawings?
Yes. PDFs, CAD exports, or printed elevations all work — details get confirmed during the site measure.
Do you build only, or install too?
Both are quoted together as one scope, and installation is by the maker — not a subcontractor.
How early should we bring you into a project?
The earlier the better. Cabinetry that is quoted before rough-in avoids change orders, and Mike can flag clearances and reveals while the drawings are still open.
Which areas do you serve?
Annapolis, Severna Park, Arnold, Crownsville, and the Baltimore–DC corridor. Farther sites are worked in around larger commissions.
